WomenO 360: Journaling the Women's Ownership Movement
The Women's Ownership Movement™ goes on the road!
We're taking our rightful place as the most powerful economic force in America.
We're leveraging the strength of our market and the capabilities and influence of the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce and our partner organizations to create business and career growth, community leadership, and financial clout. This great movement started last year with the launch of the USWCC National Congress on the Economic Advancement of Women - and is now coming to regional locations all across America.
- Empowering
- Embracing womanhood in Influence Awareness of strategic ability to make change
- Can do
- Challenging
- Changing the way we think
- Unifying
- Strength in numbers
- Crosses over in a variety of areas
- Strengthens group (women) and subgroups (minority classifications)
- About time!
- We set benchmarks for other countries
- Power in working together
These are just some of the WomenO qualities described by participants in our first regional meeting….
We have since held four USWCC Regional Meetings: Washington, DC; Los Angeles, CA; Sacramento, CA; Redmond, OR. Each had different outcomes for next steps – some individuals described a need to go inward, and identify their priorities while others were ready to actively engage in their communities, businesses and careers.
All agreed that it is time to connect, acknowledge that we have reached critical mass and take our rightful position as THE body of influence in the marketplace. It is time that we stop advocating from across the table, and take our seat behind the table to implement change to the benefit or women’s lives at home, at work and in the community.
We invite you to join us as we build our million women strike force team across the country. USWCC Regional Meetings and let us know where you would like to take the lead. It is through our unified collective strength and influence of our community that we will take our rightful place as the most powerful economic force in America.

I just read through the information about WomenO and this Women's Ownership Movement and my reaction is 'wow!' I have felt this way for sometime now. Women have reached a new level... I see it everywhere. But, it seems like we haven't taken advantage of this like we could.
I read about how few women on are corporate boards. But, we continue to buy things from these corporations. Why? If we can tell Don Imus to take a hike, why can't we tell these companies to put women on their boards, or take a hike?
BOTH are issues of respect. Don Imus just spoke his disrespect. These big corporations disrespect us through silencing us. Same difference.
I am all for this movement. I used your form to tell you I am interested in helping bring the Women's Ownership Movement to Texas.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for real leadership! We need people who will tell it like it is and spend the time to make it different.
It's so easy to sit back and wish things were different. We need leaders and supporters to revolutionize the power of women today.
