This powerful presentation and workshop will include:
(1) Recognizing the unique position we are in today – we no longer need to work through others to secure our future. It is ours to name and own.
(2) Employing the dynamic changes that this new mindset will bring to our careers, businesses, political landscape and financial well-being.
(3) Bring the power of Womeno into our lives, and the actions of their community.
I hope you can clear your schedule to attend this powerful presentation and workshop. I'm looking for your insights and feedback on advancing this important movement for women.
Sincerely,
Margot Dorfman, CEO U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce
BACKGROUND:
The U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce has committed all of our force, capability and focus to the advancement of the Women's Ownership Movement. Through our commitment to this 21st century revolution, we honor the women of the past who opened the doors to the future by taking the next important step for women.
Over the last century, the economic position of women in America has grown dramatically reaching a critical mass of business ownership, education, executive leadership, and political clout which now enables us to establish our own path.
Through the ownership of the economic power of this critical mass and the unification of our collective strength, we are moving beyond being just as a sought-after consumer market -- taking our rightful place as the most powerful economic force in America.
Through the ownership of our economic power, we behave differently, establish and invest in new economic platforms that support our community, and align our political votes and purchasing power with our own economic and community interest. This shift to the ownership of our power and the unification of our collective strength marks the dawn of the Women's Ownership Movement.
The Women's Ownership Movement gained unstoppable momentum during the USWCC | National Congress on the Economic Advancement of Women late last year with an authentic mission to lead real economic progress for women. Since then, strategic, economic, and community-building forces have formed to enable women to take complete control of their lives, influence and economic well-being.
We know it's time to unite in raising awareness of the disparity women face in building their businesses, advancing their careers, securing their futures, and harnessing the power of their community. Starting today, we're encouraging every woman to make a commitment to the ownership of their future by embracing the driving force of this movement – something we call Womeno: Women to the Ownership Power.
Over the last two decades, the economic influence of women in America has advanced dramatically. Women now own nearly 30% of all businesses in the U.S. Women make 80% of all family purchasing decisions and control $7 trillion in purchasing power. Women not only influence the majority of home buying decisions - single women make up 22% of ALL home purchases. By 2010 women will control more than $13 trillion in private wealth.
These numbers say it all. It is time for us to own our power and unify our collective strength to take our rightful place as the most powerful economic force in America.
Be a leader - step into your power today!
I have set a personal goal of securing the commitment of 1,000,000 women by the end of 2007 who commit to the ownership of our power and to working together to secure our leadership role. I ask you today to be part of this incredible community of change. Commit to the Womeno: Women to the Ownership Power and join the USWCC | Community Force.
Working together – we ARE making history.
