Quote of the
MOnth...
“Every two years
the American politics industry fills the airwaves with the most
virulent, scurrilous, wall-to-wall character assassination of nearly
every political practitioner in the country - and then declares
itself puzzled that America has lost trust in its politicians.” ~Charles
Krauthammer, Washington Post Columnist
wHAT IS PIPELINE TO THE PRESIDENCY?
The U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce – Pipeline to the Presidency – is the 21st century revolution to end "taxation without representation for women" by establishing proportionate women's leadership in U.S. politics.
Pipeline has one goal: To radically increase the level of influence women have in politics and the political system.
To achieve this goal, the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce is empowering a proven and powerful leader - Nancy Hurlbert - as the National Director of Pipeline to the Presidency.
Nancy will work with organizations and individuals to:
-
Flood the Gates: We can't win if we don't play! To get more women elected, we must have more women candidates. And, we must support them through financial donations, volunteer support, and votes!
-
Position Women Leaders: Perception is everything! We must position women leaders strongly to the public at large. As women are seen as strong leaders, voters will place their confidence in us.
-
Influence the Influencers: The political system plays a tremendous role in candidate selection and support. Pipeline to the Presidency will bring women closer to the key party and political decision makers.
-
The Gateway to Women in Politics – A Repository of Information, Connections, and Support: There are many voices working to increase the influence of women in politics. Pipeline to the Presidency
will establish one gateway to information so that supporters can
easily connect to resources, advocates, and information.
