Get Started: The Certification Process
The process to apply for certification from the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce is straightforward.

Please note: Each step below is required.
- STEP ONE: Start — Complete the online form to open your certification file and begin the process of certification.
- STEP TWO: Preliminary Acknowledgements — Complete the appropriate Preliminary Acknowledgements online form and provide eSignature. This process is managed by RightSignature. After you complete their request to complete/sign the document, RightSignature will send you an email. It may take 10-15 minutes before you receive the email from RightSignature.
- STEP THREE: Payment for Services — Complete payment for certification services. Our certification services fees are $275 for U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce Business and Business Plus Members; $350 for Non-Members. (If you are not currently a member, you may go here to join now and save on your certification.)
- STEP FOUR: Application — Complete the application that is appropriate for your certification and submit with your eSignature. This process is managed by RightSignature. After you complete their request to complete/sign the document, RightSignature will send you an email. It may take 10-15 minutes before you receive the email from RightSignature.
- STEP FIVE: Supporting Documents — Upload the required supporting documents using our secure service.
- STEP SIX: Notification — Notify the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce that your certification application is complete and ready for review.
- STEP SEVEN: Verification — The U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce Certification Team will review everything you have submitted for completeness before accepting your application for examination. If everything is complete, you will be notified that your application has been accepted for review. If anything is missing, you will be notified of deficiencies in your application. Acceptance of your application and examination will not begin until all elements of the application are complete.
TIPS:
- For the WOSB/EDWOSB program, please complete ONLY ONE set of documents. The Preliminary Acknowledgements form is the same for both the WOSB and EDWOSB certifications. However, there are two applications — one for the WOSB certification application and one for the EDWOSB certification application. To determine which application is correct for your firm, review the list of NAICS codes provided by the SBA. This list is divided into two sections — underrepresented industries are listed on pages 1 - 10 (industries eligible for the EDWOSB certification), and substantially underrepresented industries are listed on pages 11 - 18 (industries eligible for the WOSB certification).

- If you are seeking the WOSB or EDWOSB and ALSO would like to secure the NWBE or IWBE, begin by completing all of the required documents for the WOSB or EDWOSB. You will be provided the opportunity to complete an addendum to your application after you have submitted everything for the WOSB or EDWOSB certification. If you seek multiple certifications at one time, there is no additional charge.

- Important: Due to the detailed nature of the certification process and our obligation to document communications, we ask that you understand most of our communications with you will be in writing. Generally, we are able to answer basic questions about the certification forms and tools used to submit your application, signatures and uploaded documents and direct you to the federal rules for the WOSB/EDWOSB program. However, we cannot advise you regarding your specific answers to application questions.
