Post-Certification Support Service

CertificationPlus+ is an exclusive post-certification support service designed to help certified businesses complete the required SBA filing process through the MySBA Certification portal.

Federal systems are complex and frequently updated. CertificationPlus+ ensures your certification is properly filed, reviewed, and positioned for federal contracting eligibility by having a member of our team serve as your authorized delegate throughout the SBA application process.

Eligibility Requirement

This service is available exclusively to businesses that hold a certification provided by the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce (USWCC). CertificationPlus+ is not a standalone service — it is designed to support certified firms with the next step in their federal contracting journey.

How the Process Works

Here is the complete process from certification to final SBA approval:

1 You Receive Your USWCC Certification

You complete the certification process through the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce and receive your approved certification.

2 You Choose CertificationPlus+ Support Service

You decide to add CertificationPlus+ support to ensure proper filing with the SBA.

3 Complete the Purchase Agreement and Provide Owner Details

You complete the Preliminary Acknowledgement for CertificationPlus+ and provide the following information for every business owner that collectively equals 100% ownership:

  • First and last name
  • U.S. citizenship status
  • Gender
  • A unique email address for each owner

Important: Each owner must have a unique email address. The SBA system uses these emails to send required electronic signature requests. Shared email addresses are not permitted.

You then submit payment to activate the service.

4 We Accept and Initiate Your Application

Once we receive your Setup & Agreement, owner information sheet, and payment, we will review your eligibility, accept your enrollment, and begin preparing your application for submission to the SBA.

5 You Assign Our Team Member as Your Delegate

You must log in to the MySBA Certification portal and assign a member of our CertificationPlus+ team as your firm's Delegate.

Delegate Information: We will provide you with the specific delegate details to use when you enroll in CertificationPlus+.

This designation allows our team member to complete application details on your behalf.

Note: Login.gov credentials are required. Existing accounts may be reused.

6 Qualifying Owners Provide Required Documentation

If no single woman owner individually holds at least 51% ownership, then all women who collectively meet the 51% requirement must participate in the SBA review process.

The SBA system will automatically send an email invitation to each qualifying owner. You may wish to notify co-owners in advance so they expect this request.

7 Our Team Completes the SBA Application

Once you have assigned the delegate and owners have provided their required documentation, our team will complete all remaining portions of the SBA application process on your behalf.

8 You and Qualifying Owners Review and Electronically Sign

Once our team has completed the application, each qualifying woman owner must:

The SBA system will send an email invitation to each owner when the application is ready for final signature.

What Happens After Submission

Under normal circumstances: Applications move to "Pending SBA Review" status within approximately 24 hours. No further action is required from you at this time.

SBA will proceed in one of the following ways:

1. Acceptance and Pending Status

Application status updates to "Pending" — we will notify you. No action required.

2. Return for Edits

Corrections may be requested. We will coordinate resubmission on your behalf.

3. Request for Additional Information (RFI)

Additional documents may be requested. We will upload required legacy documents on your behalf.
